Overview: An Oracle ERP Solution Architect is a key figure in the implementation and management of Oracle's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and project management skills to ensure that the Oracle ERP solution aligns with an organization's strategic goals and operational needs.
An Oracle ERP Solution Architect has a range of responsibilities that span the entire project lifecycle, from pre-implementation to post-go-live support. Here are some of the key duties:
Designing and architecting Oracle ERP solutions that meet the specific needs of the business. This includes configuring modules such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Projects. It may also involve developing a cloud migration strategy using Oracle's SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS offerings.
Working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. This involves conducting workshops and deep-dive sessions to understand current processes and future needs.
Leading and managing project work-streams, including creating and monitoring project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Designing and overseeing the integration of the Oracle ERP system with other third-party applications and systems.
Managing the conversion and migration of data from legacy systems to the new Oracle ERP platform, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Developing and executing testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of the implemented solution.
Communicating with and managing the expectations of various stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and executive leadership.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment
