Project Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Manual Tester to join our team and play a crucial role in the Quality Assurance (QA) process. As a QA Manual Tester, you will use your testing experience and knowledge through the execution of regular software quality assurance (QA) test activities to ensure organizational products operate correctly and defined requirements are maintained. This role involves working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, a focus on the financial sector (banking experience is preferred but not required), and collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for organizationally utilized applications.
• Execute manual QA testing of applications in accordance with project documentation (test cases) and aligned with company standards
• Perform front-end (UI) testing of web applications. Complete regression and integration testing as necessary. White box testing.
• Analyze test results and logs defects in JIRA. Partner with project team members on the resolution and re-testing of identified defects and issues
• Draft, analyze and maintain reports of test results, etc.
• Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
• Provide assistance to Product Owner in the development of user stories and backlog grooming activities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience
• 5 years' of IT experience preferably within the scope of web application testing
• Strong QA/testing background with ability to derive robust tests from capturing requirements from technical team and users
• Proven experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments
• Communication (verbal, written and listening), planning, organizing, analytical, project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to analyze data and arrive at a logical conclusion
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
• Ability to evaluate production situations and current information to determine the appropriate course of action and execute decisions
