General Responsibilities
The Project Manager serves as the central point of contact for all assigned projects, overseeing every phase from initial planning through final closeout and invoicing. This role is highly data-driven and requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office—particularly Excel—to manage project budgets, labor analysis, scheduling, and reporting with accuracy and efficiency. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating timelines, tracking financial performance, maintaining detailed project documentation, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction through organized, data-informed execution.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate project scope and develop detailed, accurate labor quotes using Excel-based tools and templates
Prepare and maintain all labor quote documentation, ensuring consistency from bid through project completion
Complete Solomon Coyle labor analysis worksheets and other Excel-based financial tracking documents for all bid projects
Set up and organize orders prior to placement (MTT, reservations, color coding, and tracking systems)
Partner with design, sales, and project coordination teams to ensure complete and accurate specifications
Manage order schedules, deadlines, and status tracking within internal systems and Excel reports
Attend construction and move meetings; document and distribute key updates and action items
Develop and manage installation schedules, coordinating across customers, operations, and contractors
Track multiple projects simultaneously using Excel to monitor timelines, costs, and budget performance
Maintain detailed project tracking spreadsheets to ensure alignment with budget goals and deadlines
Organize and lead pre-install meetings, ensuring all documentation (drawings, worksheets, timelines) is complete and accurate
Conduct site visits to confirm readiness and proactively address potential issues
Perform project walk-throughs to identify punch list items and manage reorders
Lead final client walk-throughs, ensuring completion, sign-off, and timely project closeout
Identify and communicate additional billing opportunities, including scope changes and storage
Continuously track and report progress against budget using Excel dashboards and analysis tools
Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel (required)
Ability to create and manage spreadsheets, formulas, and data tracking systems
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis in Excel strongly preferred
Prior Project Management experience preferred
Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of emails while maintaining organization, accuracy, and responsiveness
Demonstrated professionalism in email communication, including clear, concise messaging and timely response times to internal teams, clients, and vendors
Valid Driver’s license
High School Diploma
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Exceptional attention to detail, especially in data entry and reporting
Willingness to travel as required
