You will gain valuable experience in claims management, compliance, and injury prevention while helping employees return to work safely and quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of 40–100 active workers’ compensation claims across multiple states with a self-insured mindset.
Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and legal counsel to optimize claim outcomes and control costs.
Maintain consistent, supportive contact with injured employees to facilitate timely return-to-work arrangements.
Conduct investigations to assess claim validity and identify potential fraud.
Ensure compliance with state-specific workers’ compensation laws and maintain detailed, audit-ready documentation.
Provide training and coaching to operations managers on incident reporting and injury prevention.
Qualifications and Skills
3+ years of workers’ compensation claims management experience with large caseloads.
Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation statutes and return-to-work program design.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage complex claim portfolios effectively.
Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred certifications: ARM, WCP, OSHA 30, or comparable credentials.
Experience in security services, staffing, construction, or similar high-risk industries is a plus.
