
Water Treatment Plant Supervisor

i-80 Gold Corp is seeking a motivated and proactive individual to fill the position of Water Treatment Plant Supervisor for our Granite Creek site. This person selected for the position will be responsible for process operations and maintenance, on a daily basis, as well as other duties and small project oversight that may arise through the normal course of business.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety.
Coordinate water treatment plant pm schedule.
Seek to minimize costs through process improvements.
Supervise and lead safety, environmental, security, community, MSHA and other regulatory requirements for the Granite Creek operation, supported by i-80 and external subject matter experts.
Development of our people and helping them to earn opportunities.
Ensure standards are established, communicated, and maintained through training, observation, coaching and accountability.
Maintain transparent communications to all levels of the organization.
Supervise site employees and ensure that contractors, consultants, and all other visitors are oriented and can work safely and efficiently.
Know and understand how this role supports safety, environmental, production, and financial targets. Ensure that targets set for self and team are met.
Actively pursue improvement in every aspect of our business.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated success in water treatment plant processing experience, and mine dewatering including a minimum of 3+ years in direct supervisory and leadership roles
Underground dewatering experience preferred
Experienced in supervising operation and maintenance
Must have worked with regulatory and other government entities for mining (e.g., MSHA, BLM, NDEP, County, City/Town, etc.)
Ideal candidate will be interested in growing their career with a junior mining company focused in growing by exploring, developing projects, and operating mines
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experienced with large scale mine water management systems
Ability to analyze and apply continuous improvement to all aspects of dewatering and water treatment.
