Registered Nurse - Assoc & Occupational Health - Full Time- Day Shift - Novi
The RN provides health care services to the organization’s employees in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Responsibilities
Provides treatment for job related injuries and illnesses.
Conducts pre-employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
Ensures compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations; may also conduct safety training programs.
Provides employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries, illnesses, and other health-related matters.
Monitors trends and causes of employee safety events and works with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.
Certification / Registration
BLS Provider
obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association accepted.
Registered Nurse credential
from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
Preferred Experience
One to two years of occupational health experience.
