
Manufacturing Engineer Associate - Early Career

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for our PAC-3 program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
What you will be doing:
Planning and improving manufacturing procedures and operations.
Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / SolidWorks.
Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
Designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
Knowledge of hand tools and machine tools and the ability to teach others how to use them.
Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design.
Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes.
Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, Creo, or SolidWorks.
Knowledgeable of engineering materials.
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
Position requires a government security clearance; must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance level: Secret
