Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a PLC Controls Specialist to join their team. As a PLC Controls Specialist, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
2nd Shift, Monday-Friday 3PM - 12AM
What’s the Job?
Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment from various suppliers to ensure optimal operation.
Identify and prioritize controls and electrical opportunities to enhance manufacturing performance.
Develop and maintain electrical and controls system documentation for ongoing support and compliance.
Configure and maintain industrial networks such as Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and Remote I/O.
Provide training to maintenance technicians on instrument controls and electrical components to minimize downtime.
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience working in industrial environments.
Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Networks (DeviceNet, ControlNet, Remote I/O, Ethernet).
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and control software.
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills to present complex issues clearly.
