Responsibilities
Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of riverine systems using HEC‑RAS. Support floodplain permitting and modelling assignments such as CLOMR and LOMR. Use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to draft maps and figures for technical reports and client/public presentations. Complete technical reviews of stormwater and water resources engineering plans and reports for permitting compliance.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and five years of progressive post‑bachelor’s work experience; or a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in the same field, and three years of related work experience.

At least three years of experience with:
Developing low‑ and high‑detail HEC‑RAS models in 1D and 2D environments.

Analyzing and interpreting historical stream gauge data for HEC‑RAS model calibration.

Processing geodata sets, including raster data, to support water resources studies and technical reports.

Must hold an active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license.

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
