Senior Data Analyst - Finance Governance
Responsibilities
Data Discovery: Support the Data team by leading the discovery and standardization of data.
Develop Data Standards: Collaborate with various business functions to develop and implement new data standards.
SAP Systems Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge of SAP systems to guide data standardization efforts.
Develop and implement UAT and Validation test cases for enhancements
Documentation: Document current data usage and create a roadmap for developing new data standards, including obtaining leadership approval.
Governance Onboarding: Assist in onboarding new data standards into the governance process.
Independent Work: Demonstrate a high level of independent capability and initiative, effectively managing daily workloads and competing business priorities with minimal supervision.
Process Improvement and Project Management: Leverage process improvement, system implementation, and project management skills to innovate, deliver solutions, and contribute to global transformation projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across various workstreams to implement process improvements using digital solutions.
Lead additional projects when needed to support projects to support integrated ecosystem, MDG and governance
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and lead meetings to support integrated ecosystem projects and provide leadership updates
Streamline processes: Document aspects of data governance to govern data elements across the IES
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, IT or related field
5+ years of relevant work experience in business and process transformation, consulting, and project management
SAP System experience
Demonstrated experience leveraging Operational Excellence, Lean Management, Design Thinking, or other structured methodologies to implement process improvements
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, in an internal or external consulting role, with proven ability to effectively execute projects and deliver results
Detail oriented, with strong business acumen, and experience in evaluating financial measurements and project results
Affinity with technology and/or familiarity with analytics tools and techniques
Highly motivated and willing to learn and take on new challenges
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Location
Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Global HQ Warren Mi three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
