Overview
The Lead Conversion Specialist is responsible for engaging inbound and outbound leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling appointments for the sales team. This role plays a critical part in the sales funnel by turning initial interest into confirmed meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to new leads via phone, email, text, or chat
Qualify leads by understanding needs, timeline, and fit
Communicate value propositions clearly to prospects
Schedule appointments for sales representatives
Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM systems
Follow up consistently with leads who have not yet booked
Handle objections and provide basic information to move leads forward
Meet or exceed daily/weekly appointment-setting targets
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve conversion rates
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or call center roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Persuasive and confident phone presence
Ability to handle objections and rejection professionally
Strong organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Acculynx, JobTread)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience in lead generation or appointment setting
Flexibility with schedule
