
Arthroplasty (Total Joints) Surgeon

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Orthopaedics at the Dartmouth‑Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH is seeking a Board‑Eligible/Certified joint arthroplasty (hips/knees) surgeon. The role involves performing primary and revision joint surgeries as part of a busy, team‑based, outcomes‑focused arthroplasty service at the medical center and affiliated hospitals, utilizing standardized care pathways. Experience in primary and revision joint arthroplasty and completion of fellowship training in adult reconstruction are required.
Responsibilities include:
Perform primary and revision joint surgeries with standardized care pathways.
Grow a high‑volume arthroplasty practice with emphasis on revision surgery and acute arthroplasty cases.
Teach residents and a fellow.
Leverage an advanced degree in healthcare policy or outcomes research, if applicable.
Lead research, education, and clinical programs within the Joint Arthroplasty Division and the Department.

Licensure and Certification Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of accredited Orthopaedic residency.
Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Arthroplasty required.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedics.
Eligible for NH medical licensure.
