Qualifications
Must hold a valid Kentucky Certificate in School Guidance
Have the ability to develop a positive, professional relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and parents
Coordinate/help with Scheduling RTI
Be responsible for enrolling students and maintaining medical and school records
Co-share/help with responsibility of all school testing: KSA, SAT, CTE End-of-Program (EOP) Assessments, MAP Testing, ACCESS for EL, ASVAB, any Postsecondary Readiness test, etc.
Co-share Chair 504 meetings and maintain 504 records
Co-share Chair ARC meetings
Provide individual/small group counseling sessions with students that are referred
Provide whole group prevention classroom/grade level/school-wide sessions/assemblies on bullying, conflict resolution, suicide prevention, making good choices etc.
Assist with scheduling process and offering of sequential of courses to lead to College & Career Readiness
Infinite Campus school manager
Have knowledge/experience with behavior management techniques/modifications
Stay abreast of new curriculum initiatives/standards as impacts assessment & accountability
Seek and attend meaningful professional development and leadership training relevant to field
Complete 21 EILA hours per school year per certification requirements
Willing to participate in non-teaching assignments and extracurricular activities related to RCHS.
Must successfully complete all required employment forms/applications
Render health services as necessary after appropriate trainings
