If this aligns with your values and you want to join a leader in the banking industry, we are hiring for an Investments Operations Specialist that will serve as the utility liaison between the Investments Operations areas, providing partner and departmental support, system maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
MAJOR DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsibilities will be tiered as certain tasks are mastered.
Processes trades, account transfers, and conversions for Investments Operations Department in conjunction with regulatory guidelines and departmental policies.
Processes pledges, releases, and code setup and maintenance in conjunction with compliance of regulatory guidelines and departmental policies.
Performs daily and monthly processes for various State, Governmental & Public Entities.
Assists in the planning and implementation of special projects.
Cross-trains in Investments Operations Department to ensure proper daily coverage and partner support during absences or disaster recovery response.
Handles research requests and customer service inquires.
Performs routine daily and monthly processes as defined by management.
Responsible for new partner setup and ongoing account maintenance for Investments Operations portal and administration management.
Serves as the primary contact for partner calls to the Investment Operations toll-free number.
Complies with all banking laws and regulations, and maintains the confidentiality of bank and customer information.
REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Excellent customer service and organization skills
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Exhibits high level attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and deadlines
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within and foster a team environment
Software: Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Preferred
Prior reconciliation, balancing, and/or GL experience
2-4 years of investment operations experience preferably in bonds – including trade input, trade settlements, and/or pledging
2-4 years of securities experience (setting up and maintaining bonds)
2-4 years of general experience with the Bloomberg system or equivalent
