Warehouse Associate
Seasonal warehouse position
Job duties include:
Receiving, processing, and storing incoming product shipments
Inspecting shipments and noting damages or shortages
Verifying vendor part numbers and Johnstone stock numbers
Selecting products from inventory to fill customer orders
Preparing, packing, and scanning products for inter-store transfer and customer pick-up
Processing documentation for shipments
Loading delivery vehicles and assisting customers with will call pickups
Processing customer returns
Verifying warranty paperwork and initiating warranty return process
Performing cycle counting to keep accurate inventory records
Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety
Operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment
Wearing protective equipment and accessing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) as needed
Education and experience requirements:
High School Diploma / GED required OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Driver's License
Clean driving record
Job-specific knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Ability to use computer systems and manual procedures
Adequate physical strength and stamina
Skill in the operation of heavy equipment
Strict attention to detail
