
Physician Assistant - Urology

An established medical practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its growing urology team in the Norfolk, VAarea. This office is home to three physicians and a strong clinical support staff, creating a collaborative and efficient environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP seeking a predictable outpatient schedule with no hospital call, nights, or weekends. Candidates must have direct urology experience to be considered.
Position Highlights
Fully outpatient, office-based urology role
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No call responsibilities
No evenings or weekends
Join an established team of physicians and advanced practice providers
Strong administrative and clinical support staff
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of urologic conditions
Conduct follow-up visits, treatment planning, and patient education
Perform office-based procedures consistent with training and experience
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff on patient care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic setting
Qualifications
Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Prior urology experience required
Minimum of 6 months direct urology experience or relevant clinical rotation experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
