Position Overview
The Maintenance Engineer III performs advanced-level work supporting the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems and equipment. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience across electrical, mechanical, and building systems who can work independently and respond to a variety of maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
Maintain and repair equipment such as boilers, chillers, pumps, and motors
Repair or replace components including valves, pipes, fixtures, and fittings
Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and service reports
Assist with emergency system testing and drills
Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
Support general facility upkeep and assist other trades as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Trade school coursework in electrical, mechanical, or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repairs
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements
Strong organizational and communication skills
