Sanitation Operator Position
Surestaff is immediately hiring a Sanitation Operator for a large, well-known client in Lake Villa, IL. As a Sanitation Operator for Surestaff you will be an essential part of our clients core operations. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: 3rd shift, 10:00pm-6:30am M-F
Sanitation Operator Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for effective sanitation of the various equipment and departments.
Follow equipment cleaning instructions as listed in the Sanitation Procedures Manual.
Responsible for compliance with GMPs, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area.
Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures including wearing proper protective clothing, always steel toed boots and safety googles/face shield.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance procedures, a variety of instructions, diagrams, or schedules.
Report any hazards or concerns to the Sanitation Manager.
Sanitation Operator Requirements and Qualifications
Responsible for reporting any food safety issues to your supervisor or management staff promptly
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to follow and execute instructions.
Accurate, patient, careful, responsible, and quick and alert.
