We're looking for a dedicated Assistant Sanitation Supervisor to join our dynamic team and help us ensures product safety and quality by supporting the sanitation supervisor in assuring the proper cleaning and maintaining of the equipment and facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in executing the facility's sanitation schedule and ensure timely and effective cleaning of equipment, tools, and food-contact surfaces.
Support daily sanitation operations, including equipment teardown, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembly.
Assist in train employees in sanitation procedures, GMPs, chemical safety, and safe work practices.
Maintain sanitation logs, checklists, chemical usage records, and other required documentation.
Collaborate with Production during changeovers and sanitation windows to minimize downtime.
Provide coaching and direction to sanitation employees as needed, elevating issues to the Sanitation Supervisor.
Qualifications:
4-year degree or equivalent work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably consumer packaged goods and sanitation.
Computer skills
Self-motivation and safety awareness.
Ability to read and write.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
May be exposed to loud noises, required to wear hearing protection
May be exposed to hot, wet, or cool conditions.
