Senior Front End Developer

Paramount Pictures, Burbank, CA, United States

Job Title

Senior Front-End Developer (AI-Augmented Engineering)

Team

Global Quality Engineering (GQE)

Location

New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco

Overview

Paramount Skydance Corp. is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to lead the development of high-performance, user-centric web applications that power the next generation of Quality Engineering platforms. This is a modern engineering role designed for a developer who has mastered the balance between expert-level coding and advanced AI-assisted development.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build high‑quality React applications using TypeScript, optimizing boilerplate code, refactoring, and improving feature development speed.

Act as the primary filter for AI‑generated output, auditing and correcting code to meet Paramount Skydance’s architectural and security standards.

Rapidly translate Figma design comps into reusable UI components and design systems, leveraging AI to bridge the gap between design intent and production‑ready code.

Build the front-end for internal QE platforms, including automation dashboards, triage tools, and AI‑assisted testing interfaces.

Implement real‑time data visualizations and telemetry streams, ensuring even complex, AI‑curated data is presented with clarity and performance.

Ensure that all code, whether created by humans or AI, meets high standards for performance, WCAG accessibility, and reliability.

Audit AI suggestions for potential vulnerabilities, ensuring that sensitive data handling and API interactions remain compliant with enterprise security standards.

Implement robust testing strategies (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) to provide a safety net for rapid, AI‑assisted iterations.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack development.

Demonstrated experience using Claude Code, Gemini Code Assist, or equivalent LLM‑based coding agents.

Deep proficiency in React Hooks, state management (Zustand, Redux, or Context), and component‑driven design.

Solid ability to identify errors or bad patterns in AI‑generated code and manually correct these issues to meet senior‑level engineering standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building developer productivity tools or internal engineering dashboards.

Familiarity with data visualization (D3.js, Recharts) and real‑time interfaces (WebSockets).

Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and CI/CD workflows.

Ability to achieve 10x output by effectively prompting and managing AI agents without sacrificing code quality.

Refusal to accept "working code" that violates long‑term maintainability or security standards.

Understanding of how front-end applications integrate with complex backend data pipelines and AI‑driven quality insights.

Success Metrics

Velocity & Quality: Delivery of high‑quality features at an accelerated pace through expert application of AI tooling.

Standardization: Successful implementation of reusable patterns that pass all security and architectural audits.

Efficiency: Significant reduction in manual UI development time through adoption of AI‑assisted workflows.
