
Plumbing Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced and driven
Plumbing Superintendent
to oversee field operations, project execution, and team leadership for plumbing installations in
residential and light commercial construction . This role requires hands‑on field supervision, coordination with project managers, and quality assurance from rough‑in to final inspection.
The ideal candidate is a
licensed master or journeyman plumber
with proven leadership skills and deep knowledge of code‑compliant installations, material management, and crew productivity.
Field Supervision & Crew Leadership
Lead and supervise plumbing crews across multiple job sites
Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to installation timelines
Project Coordination
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
Interpret blueprints, specs, and scope documents to guide field execution
Ensure all plumbing systems are installed per plans, code, and company standards
Quality Control & Inspections
Conduct regular job site walkthroughs to verify work quality and code compliance
Prepare sites for municipal and third‑party inspections
Resolve field issues proactively and enforce company QA/QC procedures
Material & Schedule Management
Plan and coordinate delivery of materials, tools, and equipment
Monitor and report project progress to ensure deadlines and budgets are met
Minimize waste and manage inventory efficiently
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of job site activity, inspections, and safety logs
Communicate updates, delays, or change orders to project management
Minimum Education
None
Minimum Years of Experience
4–6 years
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber
in Texas
Minimum
5–7 years of field plumbing experience , including supervisory roles
In‑depth knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and best practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and spec sheets
Proficient in coordinating labor, managing schedules, and inspecting installations
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor in varying conditions
Work outdoors in heat, cold, and weather‑exposed environments
Stand, walk, climb ladders, and access tight spaces for extended periods
Travel between multiple job sites as needed
