Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
with acute care experience to support adult patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, especially in swallowing assessments and instrumental evaluations.
Requirements
Minimum
2 years of acute care experience with adults
1 year accepted if internship was completed in an acute setting
Must be proficient in
Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBS)
Experience with
pediatric MBS
is a
strong plus
Active SLP license (state-specific as applicable)
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
Perform bedside swallow evaluations and instrumental assessments (MBS)
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians, radiology, and care teams
Provide patient and family education on swallowing safety and strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Consistent
day shift hours
with rotating weekdays
No on-call responsibilities
