The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a hands‐on leader, and a disciplined project manager with **10+ years of experience** overseeing construction initiatives from planning through commissioning. Experience in **healthcare facility construction** or other highly regulated environments is a strong advantage.**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of construction projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.* Oversee electromechanical systems design, installation, integration, and commissioning.* Manage contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution.* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.* Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and change orders.* Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.* Coordinate with stakeholders, facility owners, and regulatory bodies to maintain clear communication and timely decision‐making.* Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain proactive project controls.* Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a culture of safety and accountability.**Qualifications/Requirements:**## * Bachelor’s degree in **Electromechanical Engineering**, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.* **10+ years of experience** in construction project management, preferably in industrial, institutional, or regulated environments.* Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project scopes.* Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, construction processes, and industry best practices.* Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contractor performance.* Excellent communication, problem‐solving, and decision‐making skills.* Ability to work on‐site as needed to support project execution.## **Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience in the construction or renovation of **healthcare facilities**, hospitals, laboratories, or other regulated environments.* Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or equivalent.* Experience working in Puerto Rico or bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English).* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.**What’s In It For You:*** Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision)* Company-paid life and disability insurance* 401(k) with day-one eligibility, 3% safe harbor, plus up to 2.5% company match* Generous time off: 10 paid holidays and PTO starting at 15 days, growing up to 25* Access to Consertus Academy for continuous learning and development**How to Apply:**If you’re passionate about project leadership we’d love to hear from you.
