The Role
The Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate FP&A will be responsible for financial analysis, monthly close oversight, and budgeting/forecasting in support of the corporate business unit. The role will also contribute to departmental reporting, prepared ad hoc analyses, and participate in projects as needed.
Assume ownership of various forecasting applications and tools that support the Global Finance organization by ensuring data flows, templates, and reporting structures are accurate and complete
Oversee data integrations across planning and reporting applications, identifying and resolving discrepancies timely while collaborating with various teams such as Financial Reporting and Consolidations as well as Hyperion Support Systems
Coordinate system updates and refreshes with planning applications to support various business reviews throughout the year
Complete tasks monthly to ensure system readiness for close and forecast as well as budget when applicable
Complete/oversee monthly financial responsibilities for various corporate departments. Responsibilities include variance analysis compared to internal expectations and determining how favorable or unfavorable results may affect full‑year expectations, budget development and re‑forecasting, accruals, and invoice review and processing
Assist in preparation of various materials for Senior Leadership and Board Presentations as well as review of Earnings Release and related materials quarterly and as needed throughout the year
Serve as primary point of contact with corporate business contacts on financial matters and related questions and providing assistance by collaborating with teams such as corporate accounting, AP and others as necessary
Identify areas of opportunity and efficiency in areas of responsibility including process improvement, simplifying workflows, leveraging new tools and resources such as AI, and taking action to enable better insights
Leverage statistical and operational data to draw correlations between periodic operational and financial results, providing greater insight and decision‑making abilities to senior management
Gather and report information for annual regulatory reporting as well as year‑end audit reporting from external auditors as well as internal audit
Assist in addressing ad hoc requests
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and quickly reprioritize and pivot based on business needs and feedback from senior leadership
Actively pursue learning and self‑development to enhance personal and professional growth

Qualifications
Experience Required
3+ years of experience in finance or accounting
Knowledge of Hotel Industry and previous SEC and financial experience is a plus
Experience Preferred
Financial ERP / Reporting system knowledge (Oracle and Hyperion preferred)
Strong PC Skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
