Controller / Head of Finance & Operations
to oversee day‑to‑day financial leadership and operational execution.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance leader who enjoys working closely with ownership/partners and managing the full back‑office function.
Key Responsibilities
Own full-cycle accounting: GL, close, financial statements, cash flow, and reporting
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for decision support
Oversee operational functions tied to finance (AP, AR, payroll, vendors, contracts)
Act as primary financial partner to leadership on strategy and business performance
Improve processes, controls, and scalability in a service‑based environment
Ideal Background
Controller‑level or similar experience within
professional services
(consulting, creative, design, engineering, advisory, media, IT services, etc.)
Proven experience running the
finance & operations (F/O)
function in a small‑to‑mid‑size organization
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and operating in a fast‑moving environment
Strong communication skills with non‑finance stakeholders
