Installed Framing Warranty & Repair Specialist
Primary purpose:
To perform warranty and repair work for the Installed Framing and Installed Door/Trim departments.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Framing and Finish Work:
Experience or familiarity with door and trim installation and the ability to troubleshoot and correct door and trim problems.
Experience or familiarity with framing and the ability to troubleshoot and correct framing problems.
Performing warranty work in customer‑occupied and unoccupied homes.
Completing framing repairs.
Completing door and trim repairs, such as door adjustments.
Assisting project managers where needed.
Customer Relationship Management:
Applicant must be able to interact professionally with homeowners and builders. Our field representatives are the face of Franklin Building Supply in the community. Professionalism and “Wowing” our customers is integral to our culture at Franklin Building Supply.
Task Prioritization and Operational Efficiency:
Applicant must be flexible and efficient in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment.
Effective Communication:
Applicant must communicate clearly with customers, homeowners, co‑workers, and management.
Requirements
Construction experience in framing or finish work
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritize tasks, be patient with distractions, and manage time effectively
Willing to be versatile, understand, and follow directions
Devoted to growing a knowledge base
Have a good attitude, be dependable, trustworthy, and respectful
Self‑motivated and possess stamina and focus to perform outstanding work consistently
Interest in continuously improving processes, efficiency, and quality
Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
