Communications Intern
will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Providing account support.
Assisting in developing and executing communication strategies for campaigns.
Media Relations
Researching and identifying relevant journalists, outlets
Drafting press materials
Media pitching
Monitoring media coverage and tracking relevant industry trends
Content Creation
Message development to ensure content resonates with audiences.
Social media storytelling (copy development, working with the team on visuals to create authentic stories, social asset visual development)
Newsletter content development
Influencer research and recommendations.
Participating in brainstorming sessions and assisting with creative content development.
Event planning and coordination.
Qualifications
Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills, must be highly organized with the ability to multitask and must have a desire for a career in the communications industry.
College juniors, seniors and recent graduates specializing in communications, public relations, marketing or journalism preferred.
