Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager – Supply Chain will drive supply chain initiatives, support company strategic goals, and coordinate with cross‑functional leaders to ensure resource availability and transition planning for the company and franchise stores.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned supply chain categories such as Dairy, Ready To Eat & Drink products, Fresh Food, Bakery, Impulse and Merchandise; support the global sourcing team on packaging, smallwares, office supplies and inventory management with a focus on shelf life.
Lead sourcing and supplier strategies, negotiate agreements, price and cost management of goods and services, and end‑to‑end supply‑chain program planning.
Identify risks and opportunities and develop contingency and mitigation plans.
Provide SC subject‑matter expertise for marketing solution development and represent the SC function to business units.
Collaborate with Marketing on promotional offerings.
Assess supplier capabilities to align with R&D strategies.
Manage supplier relationships, conduct business reviews and maintain scorecards.
Write SC proposal content for management, cost, and performance volumes for packaging, finished goods, supplies and retail merchandise.
Participate as the primary SC functional advisor in strategy sessions.
Recommend and implement tools and process enhancements to improve efficiency, new product management and distributor performance.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of product categories and subject‑matter expertise.
Strong presentation and communication skills with cross‑functional partners and external suppliers.
Proficiency in Excel, Ross and Cadence inventory platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or Finance.
5+ years of relevant experience, preferably involving multiple aspects of supply chain or program management, and some exposure to the food service industry.
Experience in multi‑unit, multi‑state, multi‑functional organizations.
Food & Beverage and/or Retail experience highly preferred.
Ability to balance day‑to‑day priorities with urgent emergency responses.

Work Schedule
This role is based in Camarillo, CA with occasional travel to Downtown Los Angeles. Monday–Thursday are in‑office days and Friday is a remote work day.
