R-102680The primary role of the Food & Beverage Supervisor for the Club Lounge is responsible for supervising the set-up and breakdown of banquet and event spaces in a hotel, conference center, or other event venue. While no job description can possibly provide a comprehensive list of job duties, the following is a summary of the major responsibilities for the position.**Duties/Responsibilities:*** Ensure compliance with Forbes Standards for guest interactions.* Following up with guest complaints and issues* Coach and train staff while acting as a role model* Maintain cleanliness of work area* Monitor food usage during shift to ensure proper food presentation throughout food service times.* Assist with scheduling and planning monthly staff meetings and encouraging a sense of teamwork and respect between all lounge associates.* Maintain stock at appropriate levels and complete all side work.* Attend to and anticipate guests’ needs.**Required Skills/Abilities:** * Previous supervisory experience* Associate degree* ServSafe* TIPS Certification* Weekend and holiday availability with occasional overtime.* Multitasking with the ability to prioritize* Punctuality & Efficiency* Communication* Customer Service in a luxury environment* Teamwork & Leadership**Physical Requirements:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a colleague to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:* Must be able to lift equipment, supplies, etc. of at least 30 pounds; push and pull equipment, supplies, etc., at least 75 pounds.* Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.* The role may require extended periods of time on your feet, especially during peak hotel hours or events.* Good hearing is necessary for effective communication with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_*BHC* *is an equal employment opportunity employer.*
