Kendall Vegetation Services has been in business for over 60 years and provides full-service vegetation management for the Utilities industry in 14 states. Starting as a commercial tree trimming company, we also provide services such as storm and emergency restoration, line clearance, herbicide application, and transmission right-of-way maintenance and mowing.
$1,000 Signing Bonus - conditions will apply
Responsibilities
The Mower Operator drives a mowing tractor to mow vegetation and will also rake debris and trash from job sites.
Assist in preparing equipment and materials for each day’s work
Operate equipment as directed
Help maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations
Assist other crew members in all aspects of daily activities
Clean up and dispose of all debris
Set up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and public
Track and report mileage
Qualifications
Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
Must have and maintain a Driver’s License if hired for a driving position
Must possess physical strength and good balance to climb into and around mobile equipment
Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day
Must have good vision and be attentive
Must be able to maintain balance over uneven terrain
Must be able to travel out of town for storm restoration work when needed
