What You'll Need: • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program • AART (ARRT) Certification in Radiation Therapy • Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required • 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist • Current BLS (AHA) certification • Experience using EPIC electronic charting system • Experience operating and maintaining linear accelerators and associated radiation therapy equipment Minimum Requirements (Client Specific) • ARRT certification required. • BLS (AHA) required. • Minimum 2 years of clinical Radiation Therapist experience. • Experience with EPIC charting system required. • Ability to meet facility orientation requirement (approximately 12 hours). • Must be available for the assignment duration of approximately 13 weeks. • Preferred: prior experience in a hospital-based radiation oncology department and familiarity with department workflows. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital Shift Name: Days Shift Details: Days 2000-0400 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Orientation Hours: 12 hours Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Charting System: EPIC Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel shifts per facility policy during assignment. Additional Duties: • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators. • Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment. • Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team and follow physician directives. • Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy and escalate concerns appropriately. • Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records in EPIC.
