Front Desk Lead
Creative Dining Services is seeking a full time Front Desk Lead for the Haworth Hotel on the campus of Hope College, in Holland, Michigan. The Haworth Hotel, a 48 room boutique hotel, is located at the heart of Holland's historic downtown district and Hope College's lively campus, welcoming people worldwide for conferences, vacation stays, meetings and more.
The ideal candidate will pride themselves on excelling in a leadership position while providing great customer, organization, multi-tasking, and have a desire to provide our guests with an exceptional experience throughout their stay.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and instruction; keep management apprised of overall operations
Refer and provide information to higher level manager/supervisor regarding issues or concerns; and perform other duties as assigned
Navigates POS system
Counts cash and reconciles credit card payments
Acts as concierge for all hotel and conference guests
Answers phone to take registrations, cancellations, and provide general information
Performs general administrative tasks

The Front Desk Clerk position involves working in a hotel/office environment with responsibility to operate standard office equipment and reservation technology. May require extended working hours at times.
