This is a 2nd Shift Position
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job
(This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary).
Perform daily shop inspections and preventative maintenance
Exposure to metal fabrication, welding (stick, MIG & TIG)
Ability to weld aluminum and steel
Performs all tasks in a safe manner
Comply with safety rules and company policies
Set-Up and get molds ready to ensure consistent quality, output, and yield
Complete daily mold change sheets and other required paperwork
Complete/participate in any and all PPS activities as directed by Supervisors
Communicate effectively with production team members, Team Leaders, Engineers, and Inspectors to ensure quality installation of molds
Troubleshoot issues with the molds
Perform preventative maintenance on injection mold tooling and prior to mold changes
Troubleshoot any problems involved with mold changes
Remove and install Hot Runner Service
Support Engineers with tool design reviews on new builds
Ability to determine feasibilities of engineering change during design reviews
