At NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. Our work continues to help patients reach their full potential. Join our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality rehabilitation for our patients throughout the continuum of care including acute care, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation.
This is a full-time position in the outpatient therapy rotation working Monday-Friday, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage, and cross-coverage as needed on the inpatient setting. Shift hours are 7a-3p. Hours are subject to change based on operational need.
Annual rotations include working on our many acute care units, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation. This position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria
Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) membership
Significant coursework focused in the management of lumbar and cervical spine dysfunction and/or certification in Maitland or McKenzie treatment approaches
Required Criteria
One year of experience practicing in the outpatient therapy setting
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
New York State Physical Therapist License
Experience in treating patients with spinal dysfunction

$117,220-$132,500/Annual
