CMB Operator
ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a CMB Operator to assist with our compounding, mixing and batch-off process. The main responsibilities associated with this role are to follow work instructions to identify and locate raw materials according to the ingredient specification sheets. This individual will also be responsible for accurately measuring out raw materials to be mixed and milled to create customer approved stock.
Key Responsibilities
Compounding
Perform and locate raw materials, bring to weigh station, weigh out as instructed and record
Mixing
Possess ability to follow computerized mixer process instructions. Is responsible for mixing operation from beginning to end to produce quality material
Batchoff
Must have the physical ability and manual coordination to develop the skill to properly adjust mill rolls and temperature to ensure quality product
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Required to be familiar with all raw materials, proper methods, tools and equipment needed to compound correct rubber stock formulas
Ability to understand basic data input methods and procedures
Ability to work well and communicate with others
