Warehouse Assistant
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the incumbent assists in planning, organizing and directing the receipt, storage, and distribution of all warehouse goods and items.
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure all goods received meet quality standards and meet the specifications on the Purchase Order.
Enter received goods into the inventory purchasing system.
Expedites delivery of goods to operating departments.
Accurately completes all warehouse documentation.
Promotes positive guest and team member relations at all times.
Maintain an organized, clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma and six (6) months of warehouse receiving experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education required.
Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures as indicated by warehouse management.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
Must possess knowledge of MS Office software such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.
Ability to write routine correspondence to outlets, Purchasing and Warehouse Management.
