Starting Pay:

$16

$18/hr (Based on Experience)
Paid weekly chance for Over Time
Immediate Benefits:

Available Shifts

1st Shift (7:00 AM

3:30 PM):

Openings for Parts Inspectors for metal drill bits and machining parts. May train on first and work 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm.

What Were Looking For

Experience:

Previous Parts Inspection or Quality Assurance experience is preferred, but we are happy to

train mechanically inclined candidates

who have a passion for details.
Visual Standards:

Using a

tool scope

(microscope) to check the finish, edge prep, and coating quality of small tooling for any chips or defects.

Reliability:

A solid work history with a track record of longevity at previous employers. Must have updated and current resume to reflect all work history.
Print Reading:

Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
Shop Math:

Proficiency in basic shop math, including metric-to-inch conversions and calculating percentages.
Physical Ability:

Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Requirements:

Must pass a 7-year background check and a drug screen.
Must have good vision detail oriented and great communication.
Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

Additional Tasks:

* Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
* Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
* Write test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed repairs.
* Recommend necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.
* Read dials or meters to verify that equipment is functioning at specified levels.
* Make minor adjustments to equipment, such as turning setscrews to calibrate instruments to required tolerances.
* Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.
* Monitor production operations or equipment to ensure conformance to specifications, making necessary process or assembly adjustments.
* Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.
* Position products, components, or parts for testing.
* Remove defects, such as chips, burrs, or lap corroded or pitted surfaces.
