We are looking for a Solid Surface Specialist to support our team at our location in Arlington, TX.
Position Overview
This position involves working with solid surface materials, including installation, fabrication, and repair. It requires strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Essential Job Functions
Fabricate and install solid surface products, including countertops, sinks, and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate measurements and specifications.
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and finish solid surface materials.
Perform repairs and modifications on existing solid surface installations.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all stages of the work.
Communicate effectively with clients to discuss project requirements and progress.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
Collaborate with design and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Maintain cleanliness and all safety standards in assigned area.
Support other departments as necessary.
Perform additional assignments in accordance with the Supervisor's direction.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience as a solid surface technician or in a similar role.
Proficient in the use of various tools and machinery associated with solid surface work.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficient basic math skills.
