Soldering Technician
Local company located in Tucson, AZ is now hiring a Soldering Technician! We're looking for a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to assemble and solder electronic components to specification and quality standards. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who takes pride in clean workmanship, consistency, and following processes.
Schedule: 1st shift
Pay: $15.45
Location: South Tucson
Job Requirements
Perform hand soldering of electronic components, including through-hole, surface-mount (SMT), and fine-pitch devices
Conduct rework and repair of assemblies to correct defects and nonconformances
Inspect solder joints and assemblies using visual inspection tools and microscopes
Identify and document defects such as solder bridges, cold joints, lifted pads, and insufficient wetting
Maintain soldering equipment, tools, and workstations in proper working condition
Accurately complete production and quality documentation
Meet productivity, quality, and schedule targets
Support continuous improvement and process optimization efforts
Communicate issues or improvement suggestions to supervisors or engineering staff
