Paint Line Operator
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Paint Line Operators to join a manufacturing team in St. Marys, OH. These roles support the full paint process, including pretreatment, paint application, and clear coat finishing for metal parts. We have 1st and 2nd shifts available.
Key Responsibilities
PreTreat (Pretreatment):
Clean and prepare metal parts using automated wash and chemical systems
Monitor chemical levels, temperatures, and process timing
Ensure parts are properly prepared for paint adhesion
Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals
Paint Line Operator:
Operate and monitor automated paint line equipment
Load and unload parts onto conveyors
Perform visual quality checks for coverage and defects
Maintain steady production flow and report any issues
Clear Coat Operator:
Apply or monitor clear coat application for final finish
Inspect parts for gloss, smoothness, and overall quality
Ensure proper curing and finishing of coated products
Maintain equipment and follow finishing standards
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to lift, stand, and perform repetitive tasks
Willingness to wear required PPE (respirators, gloves, etc.)
