The job description includes covering the front desk by greeting guests, students, faculty and staff, answering the phone, assisting with a variety of administrative tasks such as, making copies and scans, proofreading, creating documents and spreadsheets, delivering mail, keeping the kitchen and conference room clean, simple research projects for faculty, and maintaining inventories. Student Assistants may also run errands on campus, make deposits, and at times assist with event set up and/or clean up happening during your shift.
This position runs from May 11, 2026 - June 5, 2026.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills. It is important to be comfortable greeting guests, operating the phone, and interacting with different faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Being a self-starter, and working independently at times is also required. Candidates must be proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
Compensation: $15/hour
20 hours per week
