2nd Shift CNC / Rail Production Operator Pay: $19.40/hour Shift: 2nd Shift (Training on 3rd Shift Required) We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined 2nd Shift CNC / Rail Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a critical role within the facility, responsible for supplying the rails necessary to keep production running efficiently. Because of the importance of this position, we are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and willing to work overtime as needed. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with production machinery, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to quality and productivity standards.
Operate CNC and rail production equipment to meet manufacturing demands
Ensure a consistent supply of rails for facility operations
Perform machine setup and basic adjustments as needed
Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot minor issues
Use manual measuring tools to verify product quality
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Maintain safety, quality, and production standards
Support overtime needs to meet operational goals
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Technical training or exposure to manufacturing equipment
2+ years of related experience with production machines
Basic knowledge of CNC or Swiss lathe operations
Basic machine setup experience
Basic knowledge of manual measuring tools
Ability to read blueprints
Preferred Qualifications:
Machinist experience with setup and operation using Fanuc controls
Ability to interpret GD&T tolerances
