Temp-to-Hire Warehouse Laborer / Forklift Operator
Location: Lenexa, KS
Schedule: Monday
Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Work Boots Required
Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions.
Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles.
Assemble customer orders to be shipped via UPS/LTL.
Process paperwork for shipments, including verifying merchandise, applying postage, filling out BOLs for LTL shipments, following shipping instructions, and insuring shipments when necessary.
Gather assembled orders in carts, verify quantities/descriptions, and write totals on invoices.
Pack orders into containers and arrange them on shelves according to truck routes.
Verify quantities and items shipped against invoices.
Substitute for other warehouse personnel as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Use Scanner for Warehouse Management System; pick orders and put away materials after receipt.
Qualifications:
Ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent attendance record required.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Requirements:
General knowledge of electrical products.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to serve customer needs.
Basic math skills for accurate task completion.
Skill in organizing and prioritizing job duties.
