Construction Administrative Assistant (Bilingual Spanish)
LHH Recruiting is seeking a Construction Administrative Assistant (Bilingual Spanish) to support our client's daily operations for residential drywall and paint projects on a contract basis. This role serves as a key liaison between the office, field production teams, builders, and homeowners. The ideal candidate has residential construction experience, thrives in a fast-paced production environment, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism. This position will be working out of the office in Scottsdale, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, process, and manage drywall and paint orders for production and customer service
Distribute drywall and paint work orders to production teams, supervisors, and field technicians
Schedule drywall and paint appointments with builder superintendents and project contacts
Assign and track materials for field production employees
Email paint schemes and job details to paint production supervisors
Contact homeowners to confirm and coordinate customer service appointments
Retrieve, review, and manage work orders from builder portals and websites
Prepare drywall and paint invoices and support accurate billing processes
Verify signed completion sheets for completed jobs
Communicate directly with drywall and paint field technicians regarding schedules, materials, and job details
Perform front office/reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and receiving packages
Translate verbal and written communication between Spanish- and English-speaking team members as needed
Support other departments (technical, communications, marketing) with translation assistance when required
Monitor after-hours voicemails and missed calls and follow up appropriately
Provide general administrative, coordination, and customer support as assigned
Required Qualifications
Residential construction experience required (drywall experience strongly preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a production-driven environment
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced construction setting
Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance
Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with Supply Pro or similar construction software preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills with both office staff and field crews
Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
