Wiring Assembler / Assembly Technician

As a Wiring Assembler / Assembly Technician, you'll assemble complex electrical and mechanical systems for advanced self-erecting telecom towers. You'll work with precision wiring, lithium battery integration, and detailed schematicsall while collaborating closely with an on-site engineering team and enjoying your own dedicated workspace.

What You'll Do

Build and assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components to exact engineering standards.
Complete sub-assemblies and final assemblies for self-erecting telecom tower systems.
Wire electrical panels and cabinets using pre-cut wires, schematics, and blueprints.
Install lithium batteries and ensure all assemblies meet strict quality and safety requirements.
Prepare parts through cleaning, de-burring, and pre-fitting for seamless integration.
Use a variety of electrical and mechanical tools to assemble and inspect components.
Review in-process and completed work for accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship.
Report safety or quality concerns promptly and proactively.
Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and wiring diagrams.
Collaborate daily with engineering and production teams to solve problems and improve processes.
Work independently in your own assembly area while contributing to a supportive team environment.
What You Bring

Experience in electromechanical assembly, maintenance, or repair.
Strong skills in panel and cabinet wiring using schematics and pre-cut wires.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, 3D CAD models, and wiring diagrams.
Hands-on electrical wiring and mechanical assembly experience.
Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and precision assembly equipment.
High attention to detail and the ability to follow structured assembly sequences.
Manual dexterity for handling small components and precision tools.
Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally with proper technique.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Initiative, problem-solving ability, and pride in producing high-quality work.
Willingness to work fully on-site.
Bonus Skills

Experience with electrical/mechanical inspection tools.
Familiarity with lithium battery handling and cabinet wiring.
Experience in cleaning, de-burring, and prepping components.
Prior military service is appreciated.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mendota Heights, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
