Warehouse Worker

The Warehouse Worker prepares, processes, and ships orders accurately and on schedule while maintaining high quality and inventory control standards. This role handles incoming and outgoing shipments, uses barcode and scanning technology for order fulfillment, and ensures products are stored, labeled, and inspected correctly in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities

Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping products.
Receive and process incoming warehouse stock products by picking, unloading, auditing, labeling, and storing items in the correct locations.
Use barcode and RF scanning technology to fulfill orders accurately and support inventory management processes.
Inspect products for defects and damages and report any issues according to established procedures.
Examine incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy, condition, and documentation.
Perform regular inventory controls to ensure stock accuracy and support audit requirements.
Essential Skills

At least 6+ months of warehouse experience.
Forklift experience and ability to operate forklift equipment safely.
Experience with inventory processes and warehouse inventory control.
Ability to use RF scanners and barcode scanning technology for order picking and inventory management.
Proficiency in material handling, including loading, unloading, and moving products with pallet jacks and related equipment.
Shipping and receiving operations, including preparing and examining shipments.

This position is based in an industrial manufacturing warehouse environment. The facility can become warm at times, and machinery operates throughout the day, creating a louder setting. Team members work around running equipment and moving materials, using tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. The role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, loading, and unloading, while adhering to safety procedures appropriate for an active industrial workplace.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MN. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
