Receptionist - School Based
Job Goal: To receive visitors and incoming calls to the school in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner.
Job Type: Classified Job Class Code: 7791 Position Type: Hourly Reports to: Principal and Office Manager Terms of Employment: Compensation will be based on 185 contract days on the board approved 104 salary schedule. This position requires an 8-hour workday.
Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate with general clerical training. Friendly personality. Some experience operating a multiple phone system.
Performance Responsibilities: Receives all calls/voicemail and directs to the appropriate party. Greets and screens all visitors and directs them to the appropriate party. Assists with correspondence on request. Coordinates dispatch information for the pony system. Opens and distributes all mail. Assists with student attendance records as directed by the Office Manager. Perform necessary medical-related services for students who have been determined by their physician to need such services, upon written delegation of the responsibilities and proper training by the District Nurse. Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
