We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in tool and die processes to support tooling design, construction, and production readiness activities. This role focuses on ensuring manufacturability, quality, and timely delivery through coordination with cross-functional teams and tool shops.
Key Responsibilities:

Support tooling design reviews to ensure manufacturability and process robustness
Monitor tool construction progress and verify compliance with program requirements and standards
Coordinate tool tryout activities and support die prove-out to achieve dimensional quality and run-at-rate capability
Identify and resolve tooling issues impacting timing, quality, or manufacturability
Support build events, PSW readiness, and launch milestones
Track and support resolution of tooling risks and related issues
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, program managers, and tool shops to ensure tooling readiness
Document tooling issues and support corrective action implementation
Required Qualifications:

Strong background in stamping tooling construction, tryout, and die development
Experience working with automotive tool shops and production stamping processes
Understanding of die build, tryout, and production readiness requirements
Ability to identify tooling risks and support resolution activities
Experience working within structured tooling or launch processes (e.g., STS or similar)
Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree
