Surgery Orderly - PRN
Responsible for maintaining the operating room environment and supplies; responsible for transporting surgical patients from their rooms to the operating room; and complies with the policies, principles and activities established by the Code of Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Program.
Job Duties:
Anticipate the need for equipment and supplies and assist with ordering supplies by notifying responsible party of items needed.
Stocks warmer with fluids and blankets; keep temperature in range for warmers for fluids and blankets, stocks anesthesia tubing and patient preps.
Completes transfers in a timely manner and transports patients with side rails up.
Assists with putting away supplies/stock and daily routine checks within the department and assist with room turnover: temps & humidity monitoring, cleans, mops, takes out trash as needed.
Maintain kind, courteous interactions with patient, family & staff.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Must be currently enrolled in a Surgical Tech program
