Process Technician

As a process technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands. Set schedules: Fixed 12-hour shift assignments on days or nights with a cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. This equates to two 3-day weekends off every month!

You Will
Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe, and climate-controlled environment
Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance
Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights and dimensions
You Have
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
One (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Certification or secondary education in industrial, electrical, robotic, mechanical, or automotive technology.
Or, a combination of relevant work experience and education that demonstrates basic mechanical aptitude and an ability to perform the essential functions and duties of the position.
